This course will provide you with an overview of the legislation on Equality in the workplace and will outline your responsibilities as a manager for Equality.

Outcome: | On completing this online module you will be able to - - Demonstrate a good understanding of relevant legislation and codes of practice relating to council policies on Equality.
- Challenge behaviors, which do not reflect the council's values and those of the Equal Opportunities Policy and Respect at Work policy.
- Identify actual/potential barriers to fair and accessible services and participate in developing initiatives to overcome these.
- Have an awareness of Equality Impact Assessments and when to use it.
- Contribute to the development of systems to monitor and evaluate the impact of service on identified groups.
