What the TEC Plan focuses on

1. Prevention & early support

  • Using data, sensors and remote support to identify issues earlier.
  • Reducing avoidable crises and unplanned admissions.

2. Person-centred care at home

  • Technology that fits daily life and not the other way round.
  • Supporting safety, independence and choice at home.

3. Workforce capability & confidence

  • Training, guidance and practical support for staff.
  • Embedding TEC into β€œhow we do things” across teams.

4. Digital inclusion & access

  • Ensuring people can access and benefit from TEC regardless of confidence, income or location.
  • Supporting carers, families and communities to use TEC well.
