Monitoring Grievance (COAST)

Programme Details, Aims and Objectives:

The course takes a blended learning approach. You must first complete the Managing Grievance and Managing Equalities modules on COAST. These two modules are interactive, e-learning modules which cover:

The content and application of the Councils grievance procedure and Equality at Work policy
Understand when to use the informal and formal procedures
Increase awareness of manager and employee responsibilities

It should take one hour to complete the coast modules.

Aimed at:	Managers who manage employees grievances (informally or formally)
Outcome:	On completing the course you will:
	Understand the content and application of the Councils grievance procedures
	Understand the content and application of the Councils Equality work policy
	Understand when to use the informal and formal procedures
	Have an increased awareness of manager and employee responsibilities
	Develop competence and apply theoretical knowledge through the completion of case studies
	Understand how to cope with common "Problems in Practice"
