South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership appoints new Director
South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Inglis as Director of Health and Social Care.
Mark was selected as the successful candidate following an intensive assessment centre and panel interview process.
Mark will take on this role following over six years with the South Ayrshire HSCP as Head of Childrens Health, Care and Justice. This role has seen him take an active role in a number of significant programmes of work. Mark is the current chair of the Children Services Planning Partnership and Corporate Parenting executive Group, Mark also Chairs the South West Scotland multi-agency public protection arrangements (MAPPA) and has led the way making South Ayrshire a key adopter of the Promise.
South Ayrshire Council's Chief Executive, Cleland Sneddon, said: "I am delighted to see Mark take up this role within the South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership. Mark has been a crucial part of many important improvements within his time in South Ayrshire HSCP. Tim Eltringham, the current Director of Health and Social Care will remain in post for a short period to ensure a smooth transition. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Tim for his hard work and dedication, he will be retiring following 11 years with the South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
