What are Health Priorities?

Priorities are set by assessing local need in relation to health as well as looking at the health profile data provided from Public Health, which advises what the key issues surrounding health are within the community.  The Locality Planning Partnership (LPP) members discuss and decide on what the main health priorities are for the community and they do this following engagement with the community and referring to the local health data.  They then link in with local groups and organisations to ensure they are providing appropriate services to improve health outcomes.

We are currently engaging with the community and the feedback from this will help us refresh our Locality Plans within the Carrick area. The Locality Plans were created around 2 years ago and therefore we are keen to ensure they still reflect the communities' needs. We would like to hear from the wider community and ask what you think the priorities should be for the next 3 years.  You can do this by completing the short survey below.  Your answers can remain anonymous, if you wish.

Once the answers from the survey have been collated, the Locality Planning Partnership members will assess these and the answers will help shape the priorities for the next 3 years.
