Medical

A Child Protection Medical may need to be completed to check for any signs of harm that may have happened. This will also identify any treatment that may be required.  An experienced children's doctor will take look at the history of events and carry out a physical examination. They may request that forensic pictures are taken. 

If a medical is required this will be arranged by social work and they will help to provide support.
