Moving & Handling Observations

Course Description

This course is an annual requirement for all staff involved in the moving, manoeuvre and movement of clients who have undertaken the 2 Day Moving and Handling Course.

Staff are advised to wear suitable foot ware and loose clothing
 

Learning Outcomes

The course will support participants to:

• Identify all moving and handling activities with which you are involved
• How to safely undertake the activities
• How to reflect on your performance

Who should attend?

An annual requirement for all staff engaged in the moving, manoeuvre and movement of clients and who have previously undertaken the 2 Day Moving and Handling Course.

Course Length

This is a 2 hour face to face session.

Please Note: If you haven't undergone 'Moving & Handling Observation' training in the past 12 months, you will need to attend the 'Moving & Handling 2 Day Induction' course.
