Adult Support and Protection for Managers

Course Description

Adult Support and Protection (ASP) for Managers is a full day course that is open to those working in North, South and East Ayrshire.  The course will give you an opportunity to discuss ASP practice, and reflect on your role as a manager within this process. 
This course is designed for:

• Team Leaders with responsibility for oversight, sign off or scrutiny/monitoring of ASP Practice
• Service and Senior Managers who are qualified social workers and have responsibility for the oversight, sign off or scrutiny/monitoring of adult supporting and protection, including chairing case conferences and may include Large Scale Investigations
• Service and Senior Managers who are not qualified social workers but have responsibility for front line services undertaking adult support and protection work
• Service managers, regardless of professional qualification, undertaking the role of Case Conference Chair

 
This course should be completed every 3 years.
