About the course

Provides and overview of health and safety requirements.

This training covers legislation and the law surrounding health and safety, the concept of "hazard", "risk" and "danger" and principles of risk assessment. The requirements of COSHH (control of the Substances Hazardous to Health), DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments in the workplace and personal protective equipment. Accident causes and reporting, carrying out inspections and audits.
