This workshop will help you to complete the new IIA by considering:

• Our ongoing commitment to support and improve our decision-making processes which will be supported by the IIA
• Whether we are meeting the legal requirements of the Public Sector Equality Duty, Human Rights, Fairer Scotland Duty Legislation and United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)
• Whether there is an impact on Sustainability, climate change and biodiversity
• Any potential impact on older people (South Ayrshire has the oldest demographic profile in Scotland)
• How the proposal will support our rural communities
• The impact that trauma can have on people's lives and our steps to becoming a trauma information organisation
• Our commitment to The Promise that care experienced children and young people will grow up loved, safe and respected

Course Duration: 60-90 minutes
