This year the Wellbeing Pledge Showcase will be held in Maybole as a multilocation event.
The two main locations featured in this event will be the Carrick Centre (located next to Maybole Train Station) and Maybole Town Hall, both a short walk from each other as per map to the right.
We would like to encourage anyone attending this year's event to consider using public transport wherever possible. As a thank you to all those who utlitising public transport we will be running a competition. As part of registration we will be asking all attendees if they have come by public transport. Simply show your ticket at registration to be entered into our competition.
Following the event all those who have been entered into the competition will be entered into a draw with the chance of winning one a £25 Love to Shop gift card!!
Trains
Regular trains run to Maybole Train Station from both Ayr and Girvan, find out more about trains to the event on the Scotrail website.
Buses
There are various buses which run through Maybole which are available. Find your bus to the event on the Stagecoach website.
Bicycle storage
Those able to arrive by bicycle or similar method will be able to securely store your these at the Carrick Centre. There are a number of spaces in the centre's bicycle storage as well as additional external storage rails which can be used with a padlock, these rails are covered by the centre's CCTV for security purposes. Alternative travel such as this will also be elegible for inclusion in the Public Transport Competition.
Parking
Parking is available in various locations including the Carrick Centre and Maybole Town Hall however, parking will be extremely limited so we do encourage all in attendance to consider alternative travel or options to car share to attend this event.
Minibus
There will be a minibus being run between the two main locations for the event. This will be a regular shuttle moving between the locations in Maybole.
This will be free to use for all attendees, staff at reception will be able to call the shuttle where required.
Accessibility
Please note all venues are fully accessible with lifts available for access to other floors. There will be staff helping out on the day, please look out for a "happy to help" lanyard for help on the day.
