Adult Respite Care

If you provide unpaid care for someone, you may be eligible for statutory support as an informal carer. This can include annual funding for care home respite or access to support through Self-Directed Support (SDS) options.

Your allocated social worker will discuss your circumstances and assess whether you meet the criteria for carers' support. Please note that there may be financial contributions required for care home respite, particularly where care homes charge additional top-up fees.
