In 2020 Scotland made the Promise that care experienced children and young people will grow up loved, safe and respected. By 2030, that promise must be kept.
We are proud to share that we are now entering the new phase of Plan 24-30, which has evolved from Plan 21-24. We hope that you can use the resources on this page for yourself and share with your teams to help you understand the Promise and how it relates to the work of each and every one of us working with communities across South Ayrshire. Plan 24-30 is an interactive website that provides links to many resources to help all services embed the promise.
The 'What Matters' questions were made from what children and families told the Independent Care Review about what was important to them. They are a tool in which we can use to support improvement and understanding. They can be used to help plan and design, or to interrogate data, to ensure that work is rooted in what matters to children, young people, families and care experienced adults.
In South Ayrshire we have developed local resources that can be used to support your understanding. All of the resources below have been co-produced. If you have resources that you would like to be added to this site, please contact SAHSCP.Communications@south-ayrshire.gov.uk
