South Ayrshire Locality Planning Partnership Logo
A Locality Planning Partnership (LPP) is a group of local people along with Partnership Officers from the NHS & Health & Social Care working together to identify and tackle local issues. Community representatives will bring their local knowledge and experience to the Partnership. They will link in with the wider community on local issues.

Ayr North Locality Planning Partnership have identified the following priority areas:

  • Promoting good mental health and wellbeing.

  • Supporting an inclusive economy that reduces poverty and inequality.

  • Reducing harms from alcohol, tobacco and drugs.

  • Supporting our ageing communities.

Locality Plans

The focus of the LPP is to agree the local priorities for the area, these are used to create an annual Locality Plan, including an action plan for the year. It will work with members of the community and wider partners to achieve the actions identified and to improve the lives of local people within South Ayrshire.
