5 Day Child Protection

Course Description

This course will enable practitioners to fulfil the role of the lead professional in a Child Protection investigation.  Practitioners will explore key practice themes in relation to Child Protection and develop their knowledge of process, procedure and relevant legislation.  Practitioners will build on existing knowledge of the roles of appropriate agencies and professionals within the framework of Child Protection, supported by a range of multi-agency guest speakers to further enhance learning and understanding.

Social Workers who will undertake the role of lead professional in a Child Protection investigation.
