Course Description

This course will provide the underpinning knowledge to employees allowing them to become familiar with SAC Medication Policy and Guidance. After completion the employee must complete medication observations with their line manager to demonstrate their competency.

Learning Outcomes

To have the under-pinning knowledge required for safe medication administration.

Who should attend?

All staff involved in the dispensing or handling of medication or supporting and administration of medication within Health Social Care Partnership (HSCP) services. 

Course Length

This is a 1-day face to face session.
 

Please Note: that this needs to be renewed every 2 years.
