Learning Outcomes

• To help prepare professionals for giving evidence in court.
• To provide a simulation of children's referral proof in court through the mock court experience.
• To provide a safe space to ask about court and experience giving evidence

Includes a presentation detailing the role of the witness in court and the role of other parties. The presentation explains the difference between civil and criminal proceedings and given participants an idea of what to expect when they attend court.

Who should attend?

Staff who have involvement with Childrens Hearing Scotland.

Course Length

The training runs for 5 hours approximately (light lunch will be provided)
