The first roll out of our trauma: Skilled Level 2 training, delivered by South Ayrshire Council, is now open.

On the one-day trauma skilled, level 2 training course, we promote that message that trauma is everybody's business. We facilitate a safe space to deliver interactive inputs and work in groups to share reflections and build knowledge, skills, and practice.

The course aligns to the NHS Education for Scotland, level 2 framework and is designed for all staff who are likely to be working alongside people who may have been affected by trauma, but that are not directly supporting the impacts of the trauma, including, admin staff, janitors, ICT and finance, neighbourhood services and so on.

This is a full day course, running from 9:30am - 4pm, which will be delivered both online and in person, and is available to all staff working in South Ayrshire.

You do not need to complete level 2 before attending level 3 as it is not a staged training, however we do ask that you complete either the Level 1: Trauma Informed module on Coast or watch the NHS Education for Scotland video Opening Doors before attending either level 2 or level 3 training.
