Learning Outcomes

By the end of the training, you will be able to:

  • Discuss the characteristics of those who self neglect and experience hoarding disorder and the possible causes behind these concerns.
  • Recognise the role of professional curiosity and the complex links between self neglect, hoarding disorder and trauma.
  • Understand the role of executive function in adult's decision making.
  • Identify the links with associated legislation to protect adults from harm.
