Child Protection Registration

The Child Protection Register

The Child Protection Register is a list that the Local Authority keeps of children who need a Child Protection Plan.   This is accessible by agencies and indicates ongoing concern in relation to the care and wellbeing of a child or unborn child.

Child Protection registration means that a social worker must see the child/young person at least once per week.

Within 15 days of the Child Protection Planning Meeting there be a Child Protection Core Croup. Thereafter, there will be a Child Protection Core Group every 4 weeks.

Within 6 months of their Child Protection Planning Meeting there will be a Review Child Protection Planning Meeting .
